Traditional French cuisine in the heart of Saint-Germain with exposed beams, brick walls and local accents. Very extensive wine list and known for steak!

Great example of a traditional French restaurant between the high-end bistro and the classic restaurant. A Parisian essential.
1 Rue du Mail, 75002 Paris
[A great steak over a wood fire.]
Robert et Louise, 64 Rue Vieille-du-Temple, 75003 Paris
Located near Vendome, the intimate small bar is dark with candlelight, red velvet couches, amazing cocktails and fun music!
With a similar vibe to the bar, the restaurant has great food and is also accompanied by a DJ that helps create a relaxed and glamorous musical atmosphere
7 Rue de Castiglione, 75001 Paris
In the very back of the hotel is this little speakeasy. With only 25 seats and no music to intrude, you’ll feel like you’ve transported yourself to another time. Hemingway himself was a regular along with many other Paris creatives - F. Scott Fitzgerald, Cole Porter & Marcel Proust.
15 Pl. Vendôme, 75001 Paris
Meat & cheese fondues with wine served in baby bottles. Have a drink at Le Bimbo, one block away, before and/or after dinner.
17 Rue des Trois Frères, 75018 Paris
Don’t be surprised if you wait in-line, however it’s worth the wait!
There’s no menu, it’s a single course! - A reputation to a unique formula: a green salad with walnuts, followed by an extra-tender sirloin of beef and its famous secret sauce, accompanied by delicious homemade pommes allumettes (french fries).
Many locations, but we recommend - 20, RUE SAINT-BENOÎT - 75006 PARIS
things to do
A Parisian cabaret known for its stage shows performed by female dancers with diverse range of magic and variety.
Get tickets to see the ballet in the iconic Palais Garnier! Arrive early to explore the beautiful architecture and a pre-show glass of champagne! Pro Tip - It’s a great view from the 1st Balcony in the front row!
Marché aux Puces de Paris Saint-Ouen
This is the largest antique market in the world! It only happens on Saturday, Sunday and Mondays! It is HUGE and you won’t be able to see everything in one day. It has everything from furniture, art, vintage clothes and jewelry among many other unique finds! Fun to just walk around and explore; prices range from cheap to expensive depending on the item!
If you’re wanting an afternoon of pampering, this is the place! Book yourself a massage or a facial and then enjoy the iconic pool and saunas all while enjoying a glass of wine in your robe in the beautiful poolside club.
Paris Cooking Classes. Really fun experience! Need to book reservation, they have everything from Macaron classes, croissant & bread classes, french pastries, cooking and wine pairings, etc. Note from Steph - I did the 3 hour macaron class and loved it! Very intimate with only 6 people and felt like I really learned how to make them!
Famous english bookstore across from Notre Dame. Was a gathering place for the great expat writers of the time—Joyce, Hemingway, Stein, Fitzgerald, Eliot, Pound—as well as for leading French writers.

Located on the left bank of the Siene, this beautiful museum is inside an old railway station built around 1900. Houses mainly French art including paintings, sculptures, furniture & photography. If you love Impressionist art, this is the place - lots of Monet, Degas and Renoir. There’s also a Van Gough exhibit here, however, you need a separate ticket.

If you’ve never done a day trip to see the Palace of Versailles it’s worth it! Although you could spend more than a day here, you can also see much of the Palace, the hall of mirrors, the king’s apartment and the gardens in a half day trip. Be sure to visit the cafe in the back of the gardens for lunch! Although you can get there by train, it’s also only 25 minutes from the apartment (with no traffic) if you prefer to take an Uber.
Visit Monet’s house in Giverny on a half day trip. See where he lived and worked and explore his iconic gardens, lily pads and pond! It’s about an hour drive outside of Paris, or you can take the train.
