Please remember:
Passport Expiration - “Six Month Rule”
American citizens visiting France for short stays (tourism, business, or family visits) is in line with the Schengen Area regulations. Americans, like citizens of other visa-exempt countries, can typically stay in the Schengen Area, including France, for up to 90 days within a 180-day period without requiring a visa.
This means that once you have spent 90 days within a 180-day period in the Schengen Area, you would need to leave and cannot return until the 180-day clock resets. The 90/180 rule applies collectively to all Schengen countries, so if you spend time in other Schengen countries, that time will also count toward the 90-day limit.
Data and Connectivity:
Ensure your phone has data or a local SIM card to use navigation apps and stay connected. Both AT&T and Verizon have International Plans (for around $10/day). Make sure you speak with your provider prior to your arrival to enable this option.
Uber is available in Paris and can be used to and from the airport.
